Completed in April 2000 this $2.6 million dollar, a two story, 12700 sq. ft., academic facility is the new home to jazz studies at Marshall University. Added to the Edwards Art Center, the building takes the form of a large, vaulted volume separated from the existing Fine Arts Building. The work consisted of a deep foundation system, brick glass, block with a built-up and a metal roof system. The interior is brick, gypsum board partitions, one elevator and acoustical ceilings.

The 186,000 Sq. Ft. facility is a five story structure built as an addition to the existing Cabell Huntington Hospital. The building houses the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University; patient clinics and administration; as well as The Robert C. Byrd Center for Rural Health. It also features a four-story atrium, 211 seat auditorium, a medical library, over 100 exam rooms and a full basement.
The 282,000 Sq.Ft. Educational Facility united the students from Huntington High and Huntington East High Schools. It houses a 2,000 seat main gymnasium and auxiliary gymnasium; a 700 seat auditorium with state of the art stage and sound equipment; biology, chemistry, and physics labs involving elaborate casework; as well as, greenhouses, locker rooms, a weight room, an exercise room; administrative offices and general purpose classrooms.
The project included 30,000 Sq. Ft. of construction and renovation work. Entire interiors of the multi-story office building were gutted and re-built to the owner’s specifications. The heavily computerized Yardmaster Center, controlling CSX railyards throughout several eastern states, was temporarily relocated within the facility while its permanent location was renovated. The Communications Center stayed in operation without down-time during both moves. Other important features of the project were a new four-level elevator and shaft, addition of a railroad museum and overhead walkway between sections of the building, restoration of the building’s exterior, and extensive sitework surrounding the facility.
The 292,000 sq. ft. educational facility united the students from Barboursville and Milton High Schools.
